Experience RequiredMinimum Experience:
3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in room division operations (front office, housekeeping, reservations).
Educational Qualification:
Degree in Hotel Management from a reputed institute, with a focus on room division management.
Knowledge Required- In-depth understanding of front office operations, housekeeping, and guest services.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical methods and training techniques specific to room division.
ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning Support
Instruction:
- Teach students both theoretical and practical aspects of room division, focusing on front office, housekeeping, and guest management.
- Provide problem-solving guidance related to course content and room division operations.
- Develop and deliver course curriculum, including lectures, handouts, practical demonstrations, and case studies.
- Prepare notes, assignments, and question papers related to room division subjects.
Assessment:
- Supervise student projects, practical exams, and internships in the room division field.
- Set, mark, and assess student work and examinations, providing feedback for improvement.
- Participate in learning assessments at the program level to evaluate student performance.
Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with faculty to review and update the room division program curriculum.
- Design and plan training programs and instructional material for room division courses.
- Identify knowledge gaps in front office and housekeeping operations and address them through targeted teaching.
Student Development:
- Conduct training on guest services, housekeeping management, front office operations, and industry-specific skills.
- Organize and lead practical training activities both on-campus and off-campus.
- Conduct orientation sessions and consistently focus on the professional development of students.
Additional Responsibilities- Assist in recruiting suitable candidates for specific room division roles.
- Manage room division-related events and activities organized by the institution.
- Utilize appropriate teaching, learning support, and assessment methods.
- Develop online courses in room division management and utilize technical tools for virtual teaching and evaluation.
Skills RequiredRoom Division Knowledge:
- Hands-on experience in room division operations, including front office, housekeeping, and guest relations.
- Knowledge of instructional methodologies and student assessment techniques.
